Welcome Gifters!
Give me two minutes of your time to gift your life of opportunities.
Hey! My name is Vikita Valle, and I am the creator behind this website, and I am here to guide you on how you can gift your life.
Now this blog is not my first blog I gifted myself. I tried to start a blog years ago while I was in graduate school, and it did not go anywhere. I had absolutely no idea what I was doing.
At that point, I was like, I guess only certain people can blog. My plan was to create any type of blog, earn passive income, and make enough money, so I wouldn’t have to rely on a 9-5 job.
Whomp. Whomp. Whomp.
I ended up taking on a part-time job in retail after I earned my Masters in Fine Arts degree for creative writing. In regard to the blog, I went ahead and cut ties with that website.
During the time I worked in retail, I wanted to turn my thesis piece I wrote for graduate school into a completed fiction novel.
But, that did not happen.
On my off days I was trying to regroup from my previous shift. I knew things had to change. So I ended up taking a kickboxing class to give me a boost of energy to get things done.
As a result, I started to figure out the direction I wanted my novel to go in.
However, before I could hit the one-year mark working in retail, Covid happened. On top of that, the kickboxing class I went to closed.
So I ended up leaving and working in a seasonal position for the next few years. Throughout this time, I used the money I earned to pay toward my student loans and to focus on finishing my novel.
I can proudly say that I did complete my novel. I earned my license as an insurance agent and work full-time. In regard to my student loan debt, I am almost at the half-way mark to paying off what I owed.
And by 2026 I plan to have it completely paid off because one of the things I want to gift myself is being free from student debt.
Another thing I want to gift myself is to become a published author. I spent so long creating my novel that I want to see it through.
MY goal is to get a literary agent and go the traditional route.
Besides, working a full-time job, taking the steps to become a published author, I want to get back in shape.
So I gifted myself with Bodi and several cookbooks on meals that will help me achieve my goals.
The best part of doing this is that I am gifting myself the opportunity to share my experience with you all.
Over the different periods of my life I’ve come to the realization of the importance of gifting your life.
Had I done this a long time ago, I’d probably be a lot further in life.
I want you to gift your life the opportunities that make you feel it was all worthwhile. Right now, I want you to take out a piece of paper or jot down in your notes section of your phone the top 3–5 goals you’d hope to accomplish this year.
Did you do it?
Great! I did the exact same thing and plan to check back in with you about all the steps I took to fulfill my gifts.
So let’s move forward together in which we achieve our goals, because we deserve to always gift our lives.
