Best Tea for Menstrual Cramps: Natural Relief That Works

Menstrual cramps can be quite uncomfortable. You can feel many emotions during those heavy flow days. However, there are a lot of things you can incorporate in your nutrition or drinks to make cramps less painful.

One of the things I do every time my menstrual cycle happens is to drink a warm cup of tea. It has done wonders to my body.

Here are some of my favorite teas I drink to relieve and ease cramps.

Best Teas for Period Cramps

  1. Chamomile Tea

Chamomile tea relaxes my body. One cup of this tea makes me feel calm. I love this feeling, especially when my menstrual cycle happens when I am at work.

When I drink this tea, it makes me feel as though I am lying in flowers.

  • Ginger Tea

Depending on the type of brand you get, the ginger can be strong. It all depends on your taste buds.

However, you can get fresh ginger and make homemade tea.

  • Peppermint Tea

Peppermint tea reminds me of Christmas. Perfect, tea to relax your muscles. It also can reduce bloating.

  • Raspberry Leaf Tea

I love flavored tea. Raspberry leaf tea can be a part of your regimen. It can help you long-term.

  • Cinnamon Tea

Anytime I drink cinnamon tea, it reminds me of the cinnamon sticks put in apple cider. Personally, it allows me to ease the tension in my body.

How to Use Tea for Best Results

  • Incorporate it into your daily diet. It can help you long-term.
  • Make homemade tea when you have the time. You don’t have to rely on tea bags to relieve the pain.
  • Use quality tea products.
